Upper Dhangadi Trek is a typical homestay trekking uniquely designed to explore Chepang community. It is one of the short trekkings and is surrounded by magnificent view of nature. Chepang, an ethnic group of this area, live away from modern developments and are very close to nature. They have their own language and way of livelihood. You can experience unseen and hidden culture of Chepang people, their hospitality, way of life with nature, language and their cultural experience.
Itinerary

We will receive you from airport / bus station and we will take you to Eco Homestay Chitwan. We will arrange your meeting for the trek and National Park visit in the first day.
Full day visit of Chitwan National Park
Chitwan, a beautiful place to visit and famous for one-horned Rhino. We will visit Bish Hajari Tal and Chitwan National Park. We will arrange cycling when you get back from Chitwan National Park.
Trek to Upper Dhangadi
The portion of the trail we cover today is much more interesting. We will go up to 1275m from sea level. More than 300 species of birds make our trek interesting. By the end of the day, we will reach there. We will see various scenes from there and we will stay overnight at homestay of Chepang.
Back to Eco Homestay Chitwan
After having breakfast, we will go to visit the headquarter, which used to be of Chitwan district in the early 1990s. This is where the grandson of Prithvi Narayan Shah and the youngest son of Bahadur Shah used to live. After visiting the fort, we will see the view of Ganesh Himal and then return back. On the way, we will visit Chepang museum, waterfall as well. In the evening, we will arrange a Hindu Chutka Bhajan for you.
