Paldor Peak (5,896 m)

8 Days

Paldor Peak is situated just between the two mountains – Mount. Langtang and Mount. The peak was first climbed by Bill Tilman’s Team in 1949 via North East Ridge. It is one of the high mountainous adventures with terrain landscape trail which crosses the remote and traditional Tamang Village. Paldor Peak Climbing Trip has 4 ridges to start – Northeast, Southeast, West and Southwest ridge. Mostly, southeast ridge is famous among adventure seekers because it is a more straightforward route than other three. From the summit of the Paldor, the stunning panoramic views of the Mt. Langtang, Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Manaslu. etc. looks extravagant.

The actual trek activities start from the famous Syabrubeshi bazaar of Rasuwa District. We reach Syabrubeshi by 7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu Valley. In this driving period, you can enjoy the zigzag hilly roads and some traditional villages and bazaars along with greenery of Saal trees and Pine trees. Mostly we are followed by the great and holy Trishuli River before reaching the Syabrubeshi. As usual, we end our trip back to Kathmandu.

In this peak climbing activity, we mostly offer climbing from southeast ridge since it is easier and most climbers have succeeded climbing Paldor from this ridge.
