Teaching Volunteer

Education is one of the basic needs of human beings. However, in Nepal, most children in rural areas still lack access to good education.

The governmental schools are few and far in between, and they too are always in need of teachers or some sort of help. Most people are not willing to work in such remote areas because of the lack of various facilities. Due to this reason, schools in remote regions of Nepal are always in dire need of teachers and school staff. Therefore, if you are interested in volunteering in one of these schools, we would be very happy to organize this tour for you.

We will not only help you find the right school but will also help you figure out the logistics of your volunteer work. We will also help you prepare necessary paperworks and documents required for the volunteer work and provide all sorts of necessary information regarding the place, people, and the volunteer work you will be undertaking. Nepal being an underdeveloped country offers many opportunities for people who are looking to volunteer in this country. Most of the parts of this country are still very rural, so people living in these places still lack basic necessities such as good education, transportation, electricity, health facilities, etc. There are a lot of national and international organizations working with the aim of bettering the quality of life of people living here. We can work together with them and help you find a volunteer activity that best suits your interests and expertise as well as the need of the community.

This tour is best suited for anybody who is looking to combine tourism with humanitarian work. The other benefit of doing volunteer tour is that you will get to spend a significant amount of time with the local people of this country. You will not merely observe them as a tourist, but will be engaging with them all the time, working together for various projects and initiatives, and living and eating with them as well. So you will get to spend a significant amount of time getting a very good first-hand experience of what it is like to live in Nepal and among Nepalese.

Here are some of the ways you can help volunteer in this field:

  • Teach different subjects at a local school as a volunteer teacher
  • Train teachers in improving their teaching skills
  • Teach English to students, teachers, school staff
  • Provide educational materials
  • Provide assistant teacher support
  • Develop infrastructure or repair old, damaged infrastructure

Note Since you are doing some volunteer work for our country, we will be giving you this tour at a discount rate, which will be cheaper than our regular tour packages.
