If you have only a few days to spend, then Bhotekoshi River Rafting may be your first choice to have great fun and adventure in Nepal. Zhangzangbo Glacier is the major source of Bhotekoshi River, which lies in Tibet, China. In Tibetan Language, Bhotekoshi is known as Poiqu. It is the upper river course of Sunkoshi River. Bhotekoshi gorge is really awesome and a bit dangerous as well.
Bhote refers the people who live in Bhot. Often the higher land of Himalaya Nepal and Tibet is called Bhot. Bhotekoshi flows through a very steep path, which is why its movement is very fast. Summer season is often considered the best season for rafting in Bhotekoshi River.

Drive from Kathmandu to Khadichour (Lower Section). It takes around 4 hours to the rafting starting point, after lunch start rafting continuous whitewater rapids to Sukete Village and make camp at river beach.
After breakfast we will back to the Baseri (Upper Section) hit class 4 rapids and stop at Lamoshanghu Dam. We have lunch over there and back to Kathmandu by private transportation.
