Itinerary - Gosaikunda Langtang Ganja La Pass Helambu Trek

Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1350m.) which takes about one hour.
Day 02 : Trek from Chisopani to Kutumsang (2446m.) and it takes about eight hours.
Day 03 : Trek from Kutumsang to Magen Goth (3514m.) which takes about three hours.
Day 04 : Trek from Magen Goth to Ghopte (3430m.) Via Tharepati Pass (3650m.)
Day 05 : Trek from Ghopte to Gosaikunda (4361m.) which takes about six hours.
Day 06 : Rest at Gosaikunda for Pilgrimage. The large lake Gosaikunda at an elevation of 4361m.
Day 07 : Trek from Gosaikunda to Chandanbari (2350m.) and it takes about five hours.
Day 08 : Trek from Chandanbari to Syabru Gaon (2210m.) and it takes about four hours.
Day 09 : Trek Syabru Gaon to Lama Hotel (2380m.) and it takes about five hours.
Day 10 : Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang (3500m.), it takes about five hours.
Day 11 : Trek Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa (3800m.), it takes about three and half hours.
Day 12 : Rest at Kyangjin Gompa for excursion.
Day 13 : Trek and climb upto Tserko Ri (5033m.)

Day 14 : Trek Kyanjing Gompa to Ngegang(4000m.) which takes about six hours.
Day15 : Trek Ngegang to Keldang (5106m.) via Ganja La (5100m.) which takes about five hours.
Day 16 : Trek Keldang to Dukpu (4080m.) which takes about five and half hours.
Day 17 : Trek Dukpu to Tarkeghyang( 2740m.) which takes about six and half hours.
Day 18 : Trek Tarkeghyang to Talamarang.(960m.) Which takes about six hours.
Day 19 : Trek from Talamarang to Chisopani (696 m.) which takes about eight hours.
Day 20 : Trek from Chisopani to Sundarijal which takes about four hours and drive from Sundarijal to Kathmandu by bus which takes about 1 hour). The trail ends, you will be driving from Sundarijal to Kathmandu by bus. Overnight stay in hotel in Kathmandu.

How can I enter in Nepal?
Nepal is a popular tourist destination in south Asia. Several airlines have direct and non-stop flights from Middle East and Asia to Kathmandu, Capital of Nepal.

Do I need to stay in Katmandu?
Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. At least, you need to spend one or two nights in Kathmandu before and after your trip. We can arrange your hotel accommodation in Kathmandu as per your interest and budget.

Can I do Langtang Ganja La Pass Trek?
Langtang Ganja La Pass trek is suitable for any trekker looking for something a little more challenging and energetic. It does not require that you have any previous trekking or mountaineering experience. You need to be moderately fit and normally healthy. It is good if you do some exercise before you come to Nepal for trekking.

When should I come for Langtang Ganja La Trek?
February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November are the best seasons. However, July & August are okay and trekking can be done but not so clear visibility due to rain.

Do I need to join with group?
It is not necessary; you have to join with group and follow our group departure date, because private trip departures everyday upon your
request and requirements. You can move at your own pace and set your own schedule by not being in group.

What kind of accommodation I can have during the trip?
In Kathmandu, we can provide any category of hotels you want as per your interest and budget and during the trekking, we provide you guest house which is called Tea house. Tea Houses are more like hotels, with hot showers, western food, and private rooms (twin sharing). In this arrangement overnight halts with dinner and breakfast will be in Tea-houses (Lodges) and lunches in local restaurants en-route.

Furthermore as you will be staying in locally owned lodges you will be benefiting and interacting with the local community. It will give you a true feel for the Nepalese people and their lives.

What kind of meals I can have during the trek?
All Meals on full board basis will be provided during trekking. You have to choose from menu. Freshly cooked food is served at all times (western, continental and Nepali meals are available in all places). Three meals a day will be provided.

Do I have pre-departure meeting?
Yes, at first, our staff will receive you at the airport and transfer to the hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduction of your trek guide and porters.

Can I charge camera batteries along the trek?
Yes, Most of the places, you can charge batteries along the trek (per hour USD 2-3 for charging).

Can I extend my holiday?
Everest base camp trek can be extend and there are many options and choices to extend your holiday before or after your main trip. Following trips are suggested for your holiday extensions.

• 2 nights / 3 days Chitwan Jungle Safari
• 2 full day sightseeing tour in Bhaktapur, Patan Durbar Square and  Kathmandu valley
• 1night/2 days Trisuli or Bhote Kosi river rafting
• Everest mountain flight.
