Yala peak is a part of the Langtang Himal which is located at the central part of Nepal. Walking through the dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements you reach the wonderful base camp of Yala peak. The base camp of Yala Peak is Kyangjin Gompa (3749m/12300 ft). You will have stunning views of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) in Tibetan side.

Yala Peak is a fantastic beginner’s mountaineering trip, to one of Nepal’s easier trekking peaks. Just to the north of Kathmandu in the Langtang region, this 5500 meters peak is situated in a beautiful valley of rich grazing pastures and Tamang people. From Katmandu you drive to Dhunche or Syabrubesi, and after three-day’s trekking you can reach Yala Peak.

Itinerary - Yala Peak Climbing

Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (1966m.) which takes about eight hours.
Day 02 : Trek from Dhunche to Syabru Gaon (2581m.) which takes about five and half hours.
Day 03 : Trek from Syabru Gaon to Lama Hotel (2470m.) and it takes about five hours.
Day 04 : Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m.) via Ghore Tabela.
Day 05 : Trek from Langtang Village to Kyangjin (3870m.) which takes about three hours.
Day 06 : Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around.
Day 07 : Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Yak Kharka and it takes about five hours.
Day 08 : Trek from Yak Kharka to Yala Base Camp which takes about four hours.
Day 09 : Summit Yala peak and back to Yak Kharka and it takes about eight hours.
Day 10 : Trek from Yak Kharka to Kyangjin Gompa which takes about four hours.
Day 11 : Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel and it takes about six hours.
Day 12 : Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi via Sherpa Gaon which takes about five hours.
Day 13 : Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by bus, which takes about nine hours.

The cost includes :
* A climbing guide
* Necessary porter (one porter carry upto 20 Kg for 2 person)
* Climbing peak permit for Mount Yala.
* Langtang National Park Entry Permit.
* Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card
* Necessary porters including a cook and a kitchen helper (one porter can carry the luggage upto 20 kilograms)
* All surface transportation to and from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi
* All meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
* Accommodation in Lodges during the trek and partly camp
* Necessary trekking equipment such as sleeping bag, down jacket,tent,matresses,cooking utensils etc.
* Insurance, Medical Assistance and Equipment for Nepali staffs.
* Rescue assitance provided by insurance company.
* Equipment fee for 1 climbing sirdar
* Airport pick up and drop services

The cost does not include :
* Garbage disposal deposit .But this amount is refundable to you after your arrival from the trek.
